EFSET stays for the European Food Systems Education and Training that brings together people with different expertise to share their knowledge and solve real-life problematic situations coming from the food sector.

 

EFSET is a collaboration of three higher education institutions and two workplace partners to foster a range of cross-disciplinary, intra- and inter-institution activities, as well as to promote knowledge for taking it into the workplace. It is aimed to address an urgent need for the workforce in food systems thinking. The programme includes a distance online learning combined with several exciting events. By joining EFSET, you will get an opportunity to take a part in the Away Weekend in Turin and a summer school in Reading!

Participation in EFSET is free and voluntarily. It is open for any postgraduate students who want to be engaged in food systems. The programme learning materials are delivered through four units of the online course:

  •  Exploration of Food Systems
  •  Investigation of Systems Thinking
  •  Application of Food Systems Methods
  •  Intervention for Food Systems Change.
